About the Blog
Optimize Your Life is based around the idea that with a little bit of research and a little bit of effort we can live a richer, more productive, and happier life.
We look at how to earn, spend, save, and invest our money in order to enjoy life now while setting ourselves up for the future.
We learn about different cognitive biases that make us make suboptimal decisions and figure out how to correct those biases or work around them.
We examine research from the field of positive psychology to learn what science says about maximizing our happiness and we learn what little tweaks we can make to improve our lives without breaking the bank. We also look to thousands of years of philosophy to hear thoughts on happiness through the ages.
In short, we aim to learn how to live our best lives.
